Does Now 13 count? On cassette. I think any album that opens with Yazz is going to be a winner. First artist album was Roxette’s Greatest Hits. This was when you saved up to buy an album, so for value for money I wanted all the big songs at one price. 

Favourite food/dream meal?

A proper Italian margherita pizza. If I am in Italy eating it, all the better!

Favourite bit of Jersey?

Grève d'Azette. Obviously for the beach, but mainly for the pizza place there. My life is ruled by good pizza! I will add St Brelade's Church is also very special to me because my good friends got married there a couple of years ago.

First job outside of radio?

I worked in a library. I can’t understate the excitement of charging a 20p overdue fine, or stamping a date in someone’s book. That’s proper power right there!

What are you streaming on TV?

Apple TV+ - Slow Horses is just brilliant TV. Gary Oldman is incredibly brilliant. It’s an amazing series, and perfect to binge.

Who’s your go-to band/artist when you can’t decide on who to listen to?

This is difficult to answer - still Roxette. I have always loved Belinda Carlisle. I have seen The Script live more than any other band.

Guilty pleasure?

Cake. I swear I would have a six-pack if it wasn’t for cake. And chocolate. And the lack of sit ups.
