A man has been arrested after a teenager suffered injuries in an alleged assault in St Helier, whilst out walking a dog.
The victim, a female aged 19, was walking with a golden retriever in the woods at Westmount when the incident occurred.
Police say it involved a middle-aged man who was walking a Shar-Pei at 1.30pm on Tuesday (4 June).
The 19-year-old sustained minor injuries.
Police have arrested a man and are looking for another male dog walker who may have seen what happened.
Officers are also appealing for any information and are urging members of the public to come forward if they are a witness.
