A 67-year-old woman has been flown to Southampton Hospital in a critical but stable condition following a crash in St Saviour on Tuesday (16 May).

The collision caused both vehicles involved to set alight, closing La Grande Route de St Martin for over 6 hours.

The woman was taken to Jersey General Hospital's intensive care unit in critical condition immediately after the crash.

A 36-year-old dad and his children, who were also involved in the incident, were taken to hospital but later discharged.

Police are now investigating and are asking for witnesses to the 'significant' crash to come forward with information by contacting 612612 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
