Two people had to be rescued by the Fire Service's inshore lifeboat after being cut off by the tide near Seymour Tower.
It happened at around 4pm on Sunday afternoon.
Two others from the group managed to make it back to land without needing assistance.
Jersey Fire and Rescue has reminded everyone to check the tide times before walking along Jersey's coastline.
