Jersey's Year 13 cohort saw a pass rate of 97.8%, which is 0.6% higher than the UK average.
Jersey's students saw a 1.1% decrease in pass rates compared to last year.
Results in England have also fallen and are just 1.8% higher than 2019's pre-pandemic levels.

The UK government announced it wanted to 'reset' grades after COVID-19 which exam boards warned would influence this year's results.
98% of students in the Bailiwick of Guernsey taking A Levels or Level 3 equivalent qualifications got A*-E grades this year.
Hautlieu's headteacher Nick Falle says this cohort of students has had a challenging time despite nearly all of their students passing their A Levels or equivalents:
"...we should remember that these students walked into their A-Level exams as their first formal high stakes testing experience as a result of their GCSE exams being cancelled through Covid.
"It is a real tribute to their resilience, determination and ambition that this group of Hautlians have been so successful.
"Whilst we are incredibly proud of students for their grades, with a pass rate just shy of 100%, entries to world-leading universities and employment offers, we are of course far more proud of who they are as individuals - for their kindness and willingness to support each other and their ability to think critically to question the world around them."
Students who took the International Baccalaureate (IB) at Hautlieu this year have achieved a 100% pass rate.
This compares to a worldwide pass rate of 79.3%.

Victoria College Sixth Form students broke records with their results.
The Victorians got the highest A*- C percentage in history with over 90% of pupils achieving the grades, and the second highest A* achievement (17%).
For a second consecutive year, both Oxbridge students had their offers confirmed after achieving straight A*'s and 92% of the cohort will go on to further education.
Laurence (blue) and Eden (pink) have found out they are both going to Oxford.
Headteacher, Dr Gareth Hughes, says their class of 2023 received fantastic grades.
"Our students, who have overcome individual and collective challenges through their secondary education, should be rightly proud of their achievements.
"Exceeding last year’s record A*-C percentage is especially pleasing given the widely-reported national tightening of grades this year. The strong relationship between our hardworking students, our supportive parents and our diligent and caring staff has played a pivotal part in these successes."
Beaulieu saw a 7% increase in top grades compared to the year before with 45% of students gaining A* or A in their examinations.
Paul Robinson, Acting Headteacher, says he is delighted that our students' efforts and hard work have been rewarded with a strong set of examination results.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank our students' parents for their ongoing support and confidence and our teachers for the unswerving dedication, expertise and guidance they have so willingly shown our Sixth Form students."
Jersey College for Girls received excellent grades with a 100% pass rate and 92% of students achieving A*- C.
Carl Howarth, the Principal, says their students were doing their GCSEs when the pandemic prevented them from sitting their exams.
"...while the grade boundaries returned to ‘normal’, this cohort didn’t have a 2019 ‘normal’ experience.
"They learnt to work online at home and had not had the benefit of vital exam hall experience and, with their teachers, didn’t have the certainty of where the grade boundaries would be this year."
De La Salle Sixth Form saw 29% of its boys gaining A*'s (Distinction*'s) and A's (Distinctions).
71% of grades ranged from A*- C and headteacher, Jason Turner, says he would like to congratulate all the boys on their achievements.
"For many of the boys this is the first set of external examinations they have taken as their GCSE’s were awarded via Centre Assessed Grades due to COVID.
"I am proud of all at De La Salle for rising so admirably to the challenges faced. Every student who did his best should be celebrating today."
