Police Stop Search For Thomas Frost

The physical search for the missing 51-year-old has come to a close.

It has been eight weeks since Thomas Frost was last seen at his parents' home in St Ouen.

The police will continue investigating his disappearance but have pulled away from the on-foot operation.

Acting Superintendent Craig Jackson says all of the agencies involved in the search are saddened that, despite their best efforts, they have not brought Thomas home:

"We have consulted Thomas’ family throughout the investigation, explaining the rationale behind all of our decisions."

They remain supported by specialist officers.

I’d like to reiterate that the investigation remains ongoing and ask members of the public to remain observant when out and about and report anything that may be helpful to the enquiry."

Officers from Guernsey, Avon and Somerset, the JSAR and other diving agencies and dog units were involved in the investigation.

Thomas was barefoot when he left his parents' home on Saturday 11 February and is 5'10" with a medium build and greying hair.

He was believed to be wearing a red t-shirt underneath a navy blue shirt with white buttons and navy jeans, he was also possibly wearing a grey hoodie.
