Both Jersey's men and women have won the Muratti, in a clean sweep for the 2022 inter-islands football fixtures.
The men's side secured 1 -0 victory over Guernsey at Springfield Stadium in the first Muratti to be played since 2019, and the first in Jersey since 2018.

The following day, and in a busy weekend of Channel Island sporting action. Jersey's women trounced Guernsey 5-0 in the first Muratti game in six years.

It completed a clean-sweep for Jersey, with the reds also victorious in the U16, U18 and U21 games, as well as the unofficial over 50s and referees matches.
In rugby, Jersey suffered the reverse fortunes, losing the Siam Cup twice in the space of a week.
Guernsey trounced the Reds 50-0 at Footes Lane in the 2022 edition of the inter-insular. They had lifted the trophy the previous weekend when the postponed 2021 match was played at Stade Santander.

Guernsey's women also claimed victory with a narrow 13-12 win over Jersey who had taken the title last Saturday.
Jersey did prosper in the cricket inter-insular.
