The man who died after being hit by a black Mercedes taxi in St Brelade last weekend has been named as 48-year-old Norman Dean.
It happened near the old Shell Garden site on Mont Le Vaux at around 8:15pm on Sunday 29 November.
Mr. Dean was taken to hospital, but died a short time later.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing. Anyone with information on what happened is asked to call police on 612612 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Jersey Police have offered their thoughts and condolences to Mr. Dean's family.
