LibertyBus will be returning to a full timetable from Monday 19th April.
The company thinks it will be in place for the rest of the year, but that will depend on the pandemic situation.
All services will be running apart from Route 14, which will start from Friday 28th May.
"We want to make sure that we can deliver the bus services that islanders need and just having that message from the States to say we're encouraging people to get back to work has been the news that we've been waiting for for a long time.
"It's important to get back to that local timetable, that Monday to Friday timetable, because the running times on the Saturday timetable haven't been ideal with people getting stuck in traffic.
LibertyBus Director, Kevin Hart
"From Monday next week, we know that the traffic will get a little bit worse when the schools get back.
"It will allow for a far smoother running timetable without the late-running that we've seen on some of the routes that have been getting a bit congested." -Kevin Hart, Director of LibertyBus.
Services have been reduced for several months now because of the impact of the pandemic.
People have been advised by the government to work from home where possible since December, but islanders are now advised to return to the workplace again with continued low levels of Covid infection in the island.
It's been two weeks since a Covid-19 case was found in the community.
"It has been a very difficult year for everyone, but now the work from home order has been lifted, we are incredibly pleased to be able to revert back to the full timetable to accommodate the increase in passenger numbers traveling to and from work, and to help support the hospitality industry in the evenings and weekends. We would like to thank all of our customers for their continued support over this challenging year."
Masks still have to be worn onboard the bus.
