Jersey will host South African rugby stars for a week-long training camp and events programme.
Rugby World Cup Champions, the South African Springboks, will visit Jersey from 28 October - 3 November for a week of activities.
The athletes will be undergoing rigorous training at Jersey Rugby Club to get them prepped for their autumn internationals.
There will also be opportunities for islanders to get involved in their visit.
The squad will host a 'behind-the-scenes' open training session on Saturday 2 November, where people can watch the team in action.
That same evening, the Royal Jersey Showground will be the venue for 'An Evening with the Springboks Charity Gala'.
This gives rugby fans the chance to have dinner with the Springboks, with ticket proceeds going to Jersey Sports for the Disabled.
A youth rugby camp for 9-12 year olds will also run from 29 October - 31 October, led by professional coaches.
Tickets cost £95 for the three day workshop.
Head Coach Rassie Erasmus at South Africa Rugby said he's buzzing to come to Jersey:
“We are all incredibly excited about heading to Jersey this autumn.
"With many of our players based in the UK and France, the chance to come together as a national team and prepare for the Autumn Internationals in such an excellent environment was an easy decision.
"Jersey provides a top-tier training facility at Strive, while also offering the perfect setting for our Springboks to strengthen team bonds and engage with rugby fans in the local community.”
Sustainable Economic Development Minister Kirsten Morel, said he's looking forward to welcoming the team to the island:
“I hope that the Springboks’ visit will both inspire Islanders to get involved in sport, and will also boost our visitor economy by putting Jersey on the map as a place which world-class squads can use as a base for training.
“There are significant South African expat communities in Jersey, France, and the UK, and many business connections with South Africa, and I am confident that the impact of hosting this world-class squad will go well beyond rugby.”
