Schools, businesses and community groups that are tackling single-use plastic waste are being recognised at a special reception.
Surfers Against Sewage are formally certifying the island as Plastic-Free.
The States Assembly's getting 'Plastic-free Parliament' status for ditching cutlery, straws, bottles and cups.
It's also demanding firms that provide the government with refreshments to the do the same.
