Families flocked to town for the Battle of Flowers Christmas Parade.
Islanders young and old lined the streets for the procession of festive-themed floats. An estimated 4,000 attended.
The parade made a return for 2021, having been cancelled last year because of Covid-19.
There were fewer floats because the traditional summer parade was also cancelled, meaning many exhibitors had not built a display this year.
But a selection of 14 brightly coloured floats and costumes - along with star guest Santa - brought smiles to people's faces as they made their way around the Esplanade on Sunday evening (12 December).
“It was great to see the Parade take to the streets of St Helier again and get everyone in the festive mood. The public feedback we’ve had has been fantastic and so positive. I’d like to thank everyone who played their part in making the parade such a success, organisers, voluntary organisations, parish authorities, participants and of course the public for coming out on a chilly Sunday evening to support us.” - Jackie Donald, Event Director.
