Islanders are being invited to put their pens to paper and design a skip to raise money for Healing Waves.
A to B Skips is a family-run business that has decided to get involved with the Healing Waves White Collar Surfing in its own way.
If surfing is not your thing, perhaps drawing a new design for a skip is.
Islanders are being encouraged to sign up either solo, in teams, or as a family.
The winner will be announced at Watersplash on 12 August, with a local artist painting the winning design onto the skip.
Another blank skip will be at the surf event for other islanders who may not have won the competition to design as a large group project.
Emma Traizer and her brothers run A to B, and she says they wanted to find a way to make people smile by putting other forms of art out there.
"We're going to have lots of different coloured paints and markers, just so people can have a go and write what they think about Healing Waves, their thoughts on the day, just to create a community skip what we can use around the island and use on site."
People can buy an entry to the competition for £10, which will go toward Healing Waves, and submit their competition entries to [email protected]
The siblings plan on reaching out to more charities, groups and schools to create more colourful skips to dot around Jersey.
