The England rugby union team are coming to Jersey for an autumn training camp.
They'll be hosted by Jersey Reds and use the Strive high-performance centre between 25 October and 29 October.
It's ahead of their three test matches at Twickenham Stadium against Tonga, Australia, and South Africa.
"Jersey has a strong rugby community, and the new Strive centre is an outstanding facility with a state-of-the-art training centre, alongside the Jersey Reds’ facilities.
“We usually go to Portugal but with the challenges presented by Covid-19, it has given us the opportunity to try a new facility and we’re looking forward to spending some time there and working hard this autumn.” - Eddie Jones, Head Coach.
The British and Irish Lions came to Jersey for a training camp earlier this summer ahead of the tour of South Africa.
They also came back post-tour.
Premiership sides Leicester Tigers and Sale Sharks have come to the island this summer for pre-season training fixtures.
Fully vaccinated members of the England team will be able to come into Jersey without having to isolate.
There is currently still a testing requirement upon arrival.
"We are thrilled to welcome yet another high-profile visiting rugby side to our club and our Island. We look forward to ensuring Eddie and his team can host a great camp as the England boys prepare for their autumn campaign." - Mark Morgan, speaking to the Jersey Reds website.
