Daughter Takes On Island Walk For Charities That Searched For Her Dad

The daughter of missing man Thomas Frost is raising money to thank the services that helped look for him.

The 51 year old went missing on 11 February from his parents home in St Ouen.

His disappearance sparked a major search operation that latest for eight weeks and involved multiple agencies and specialist divers and cadaver dogs from the UK.

Their efforts failed to find any trace of him.

Daughter Emily Frost is doing the Island Walk in June, in aid of the RNLI and the Channel Islands Air Search.

In a JustGiving page she explains why she is taking on the 48 mile challenge.

"When my Dad went missing in February, the RNLI and Channel Islands Air Search worked extremely long hours searching for him. My family is exceptionally grateful for their time, support, and resources.

The 18th of June is Fathers Day; I would like to complete this walk for my Dad, whilst raising money for these important services. The donations received will be divided equally between these two charities."

Her appeal has already drawn more than £2,645 in donations in a single day, exceeding her initial target of £2,000.

Emily will be walking around Jersey's coastline with a group of friends.

RNLI Jersey has asked its social media followers to show support and compassion by helping Emily raise as much as possible.
