Corbière lighthouse has been given a golden hue this week as part of celebrations to mark 150 years of Jersey's famous landmark.
The lighthouse, off the island's south west coast, has been guiding seafarers to safely navigate Jersey’s treacherous waters since it was first lit on 24 April 1874.
Ports of Jersey, which looks after the iconic navigational aid, has been preparing for this special anniversary.
The lighthouse is being illuminated gold each night until Sunday 28 April.
Ports of Jersey is encouraging islanders and visitors to see the lighthouse 'in a different light'.
The lighthouse - one of the most photographed places in Jersey - has had a fresh coat of paint in time for its birthday.
Further events are planned to mark the 150th anniversary, including the unveiling of a special plaque and a limited number of guided tours.
