Jersey Fire and Rescue pulled a car out of the way of the rising tide at Green Street Slipway yesterday evening.
Officers arrived at the slipway that overlooks La Collette to find a UK-registered car close to being swept away by the rising tide.
Crew pulled it out of the way and have since renewed a warning not park on slipways.
Many of the island's slipways have restrictions on parking so that emergency services can have unhindered access to beaches.
It follows a similar call last month, where a parked car delayed the emergency response to a casualty on a beach, with the Station Commander saying leaving a car on slipways 'could cost lives'.
