£70,000 worth of heroin has been found by police hidden in a plastic bowl in a wooded part of St Helier.
Two men – aged 37 and 40- have been arrested.
Police say they have been working with Customs and Immigration on ‘an intelligence-led operation targeting an organised crime group involved in the distribution of Class A drugs’.
Heroin with a street value of £70,000 was found in a round Tupperware box on Monday.
A short time later, officers arrested two men nearby on suspicion of possession and intent to supply illegal substances.
The force says the pair have been bailed while their enquiries continue.
