Covid Travel: More Areas Upgraded

More countries and regions of the UK are turning red or amber on Jersey's Safe Travel List this Saturday.

Jersey's government has announced the latest changes to its traffic light system.

Once they take effect , only four parts of England will remain green  - the Isle of Wight, Arun and Folkstone and Hythe in the South East and Torridge in the South West.

Isolation requirements for inbound travellers depend on where they have come from, with a country or area status graded by the levels of Covid-19.

More details of the revised listings can be found here.

Passengers arriving with a green status are required undertake a PCR test on arrival (day 0) and on day 5 and must isolate until they receive a negative result from their day 0 test.

Passengers arriving with an amber status are required to undertake a PCR test on arrival (day 0) and on day 5, and must isolate until they receive a negative result from their day 5 test.

Passengers arriving with a red status are required to undertake a PCR test on arrival (day 0) and must isolate for 14 days.
