Guernsey's Year 13 students had a slightly higher passing rate than the UK - but lower than in 2019 pre-pandemic.
98% of students in the Bailiwick taking A Levels or Level 3 equivalent qualifications got A*-E grades this year.
This is 0.8% higher than in England, but 1.3% lower than Guernsey's 2022 rate and 1.4% lower than the local pre-pandemic achievement.
Jersey's students saw a 1.1% decrease in pass rates compared to last year, falling to 97.8%.
Exam boards warned that this year's results will be impacted by the UK Government's attempts to "reset" grades - after Covid-19 forced external exams to be cancelled.
More than a third of Ladies’ College pupils got A*/A grades - higher than the 2019 examination results.
87% have been accepted at their chosen universities.
College Principal Daniele Harford-Fox says she is proud of her student's achievements:
"Each grade was hard won by the student and championed by our amazing team of teachers.
Success is driven as much by proactivity, flexibility, and willingness to throw yourself into the fray as it is by your A Level grades.
The students at the Ladies’ College are some of the best I have ever met in terms of this. They know their own voices, they are leaders and thinkers and they learn not through regurgitation but through independent thought and curiosity."

Guernsey Grammar Sixth Form Centre students achieved a 100% pass rate in IB subject certificates and a 96.5% pass rate in A Levels overall.
14% of the A Level grades were at A*/A.
Principal Kieran James says this year's group has been resilient:
"This cohort was the second to enter our Sixth Form on the basis of Teacher Assessed GCSE grades. They have experienced significant disruption to their learning as a result of the Covid pandemic and their achievements in our IB qualifications in July and in A Levels today are a testament to their hard work and determination.”
GCSE exam results will be released next Thursday (24 August).
