Weather warnings are in place as Guernsey is set to be battered by Storm Ciara this weekend.
Gale force 9 winds are due to hit the island later today into tomorrow.
Bad weather is forecast into early next week.
Guernsey Police is urging people to avoid the West Coast Saturday night into Sunday and to use inland routes instead.

A tide warning has been issued for 06:31 tomorrow morning.
Travel disruption is also expected - with Condor cancelling sailings on Sunday and Monday and Aurigny warning that its flights could be affected.
