Guernsey's latest unemployment figures show an increase in job-seekers, but a decline in related benefit claims.
At the end of June 2023, the number of islanders looking for work in Guernsey increased to 288.
This is eight more than the previous month and 16 more than the same time last year.
Despite this, there were seven fewer new claims for unemployment benefits and income support made in June, than in May.
The number of people in work and claiming extra financial support fell to 272. That is 23 fewer than at the same time last summer.
The Job Centre is currently advertising 347 positions - 151 more than this time last year.
