A new 24/7 helpline opened this month to help islanders who have experienced something sexual that they did not want to happen.
Trained staff will provide support and advice on the number, which is 01481 227 700.
It is a part of Guernsey's new Sexual Assault Referral Centre.
Manager Charlie Cox says the helpline could have a huge impact:
“The helpline will be the first contact many victims and survivors may have had with a professional to talk about what has happened to them.
Staff have been trained to respond in a trauma-informed way and the public can be assured that their views, wishes and feelings will be central to the support they receive."
SARC will launch a forensic examination service next year.
