A hospital patient who tested positive for Covid-19 has died.
The States of Guernsey confirmed the sad news in a social media post.
No further details on the patient have been provided.
This is the first person with Covid-19 to die in Guernsey post-second wave.
45 people are currently known to have the virus on-island.
