Guernsey Girl (10) tackles England's tallest mountain in memory of her dad

Isabella Robilliard has climbed to the peak of Scafell Pike Mountain in memory of her father, who passed away last year.

Isabella's dad, Stephen, was planning to climb Scafell before he started chemotherapy.

The 10-year-old decided to take on the challenge after he passed to raise money for Les Bourgs Hospice, as it was her father's final resting place.

She has raised £4,150 online.

Isabella says she knows her father would be delighted with her.

"He will be very proud of me.

"He will be laughing at my mother, we are going to leave bottles of champagne for her halfway down to convince her to keep going."

Liz Stonebridge, Fundraising Manager, says it is an incredible achievement as Scafell Pike would be a difficult challenge for an adult to complete.

"Our nursing team takes pride in ensuring that the highest standard of compassionate, holistic care is provided to our patients and their families.

It is therefore humbling to hear the positive impact that has had on them.

We are very grateful to Isabella and her support team for raising funds for us."
