Since their ‘rediscovery’ in the 1990s, Claude Cahun and Marcel Moore have gained an international cult following amongst the LGBTQ+ community, artists and historians. Their incredible story covers prolific creativity, the challenging of gender stereotypes, and dangerous resistance activity during the German Occupation of Jersey.
During this four-day celebration, you can enjoy free expert talks, guided walks, film screenings, artist-led workshops and an exclusive viewing of the Cahun and Moore collection, cared for by Jersey Heritage. Venues for the Claude Cahun and Marcel Moore Weekend include Jersey Museum, the Maritime Museum, Jersey Archive and St Brelade’s Bay.
