Disability, inaccessibility, and barriers affect disabled islanders 24 hours a day. Carers hold the responsibility of caring 24 hours a day. By carrying out the uncomfortable task of running for 24 hours, Catia wishes to shed light on disability matters that affect people daily. She hopes to raise awareness through her own story. Disability isn't always visible. She has Lupus, and managing her illness is an everyday task.

Mismanagement can land her in the hospital with failed organs. These disabilities require 24-hour attention and are often unnoticed. At Enable, they strive to create a community that is aware of the barriers faced by people with disabilities and help them overcome those barriers. Their overall intention is to create an inclusive island where everyone has the chance to live to their best ability.
